Account & Comment Information

If you sign in with Google to comment on a blog post, we receive basic profile information from your Google account, such as your name, email address, and profile photo, along with the content of any comment you submit.

Payment Information

If you sign up as a sponsor or make a donation directly through the Site, your payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full payment card details on our own servers; payment information is handled directly by our payment processor in accordance with its own privacy and security practices.

Merchandise Orders

If you purchase merchandise, you will be directed to Printify to complete your order. Any personal and payment information you provide during that checkout is collected and processed by Printify, not by SumnerSevereWX directly.

Usage & Cookie Data

Like most websites, we automatically collect certain information when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring URLs, through cookies and similar tracking technologies.

• Patreon, for Sumner Circle recurring membership subscriptions, where applicable.

The Site is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Commenting requires a Google account, which itself requires the account holder to meet Google's minimum age requirements. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.

You may request that we remove a comment you have submitted, or delete personal information associated with your account, by contacting us using the information below. You may also manage your Google account permissions directly through your Google account settings, and manage payment or membership information directly through our payment processor or Patreon, as applicable.

We take reasonable measures to protect information collected through the Site. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
